Shop Window Display Competition

The Window Display Competition has become the most hotly contested events on the St Ives in December calendar with over 60 shops and galleries around the town competing for one (or both) of the coveted annual awards. This year's suggested theme is The Snow Queen to link with the Kidz R Us pantomime.
On Saturday 15 December, we are delighted that Bob Devereux - local poet, artist and raconteur - and artist Anthony Frost will be joining forces and touring the town to decide on the winner of the Judge's Shield for Best Overall Window Display with rosettes for: Best Interpretation of the Theme; Most Humorous Window; Best Small Window. Last year, The Lilac & Lime on Tregenna Place won the Judge's Shield with John's Spirits and Wines the unanimous winner of the People's Vote. Who will be the lucky winner(s) this time?
But, throughout the month, everyone a chance to vote for the People's Award. Which business do you think has helped add a touch of Christmas magic to the town? So make sure you vote for your favourite display:
- There will be voting boxes in both local Post Offices - on the Wharf and on Tregenna Hill where you can cast your vote. The closing date for votes is 12.30pm on Saturday 29 December 2018.
