Fabulous shop window displays around town. You vote and you decide who will win the shield this December.  Last year over 40 shops in St Ives took part in the Shop Window Christmas Display Competition, with some beautiful, creative and festive displays brightening up the towns streets. This year over 50 shops are taking part.

I Should Coco took home the Judges Award and were also joint winners with The Glass Tree for the People’s Trophy…can they defend their titles again this December?  Why not join in this year and vote for your favourite.  All shops entrants will have their window displays ready by the second week of December and will have a poster in their window confirming they’re taking part.  To vote simply tell us by emailing enquiries@stiveschamber.co.uk , messaging us on our St Ives in December Facebook page, or by finding us on Twitter – @StivesDecember

You need to give us your vote by 18th December when the Awards Ceremony will be held and winners notified.

Do you have a shop in St Ives?

Why not take part in this year shop window display competition.  Well here’s the info you need to know to help you win! The window theme is simple – anything to do with…DECEMBER. Your choice completely. Last year we had some fabulous ideas and obviously appreciated by the shoppers.

There are two awards this year – Judges Award (you get a shield) and the Peoples Award (you get a trophy). Winners will be notified in time for our Awards Evening on 18th December.  This competition is FREE to join.

Your window will be judged on:

  • Relevance to December
  • Interest and fun element of display
  • Attractiveness and standards of appearance

If there’s anything else you need to know please get back to us – St Ives Chamber of Trade & Commerce (enquiries@stiveschamber.co.uk).  In the meantime start planning, have fun and…good luck!
